Revelstoke 2004

We had another great year! Welcome to the annual Revelstoke trip web. I'm still working on the movie for this year, but you can access all the pictures now by clicking on "Photos" above. If you have any questions or problems drop me a line.

This year, Erik, Ronald, Rainer (the FNG), and I headed north a day earlier than usual (Tuesday instead of Wednesday) so that we could ski at Mt. Baker and then Sun Peaks on the way up. This worked out great. We had a fun day of skiing Mt. Baker on Tuesday with 3-4 inches of fresh snow. None of us had skied Baker before so it was a fun experience getting to know the mountain. I can certainly see why the locals think it is so great. Fantastic terrain!

On Wednesday (February 25th) we awoke in beautiful Kamloops, B.C. and drove about an hour to Sun Peaks. Sun Peaks has been described as "the next Whistler". All I can say is that they need snow. We had some good runs, and a lot of fun, but they definitely needed snow. The mountain has some pretty good terrain, but it's mostly blues. Visibility was terrible at times, and we had one gawd-awful run.

A few pictures to fill out the main page. Go to the photo gallery to see the rest:

As soon as Erik sends me the list of runs and our guides/tail-gunners I will add that information here.
